From pigment to tin
Four halls, three dispersion lines and a laboratory that releases every batch before a lid goes on.
Every tin has a file
Twenty years on, we still know who filled it.
Every tin carries a batch number. Twenty years on we can still say exactly which pigment was in it, which delivery it came from and who filled it. That is not just quality assurance — it is why we can touch up a historic building without a colour difference.
We run two shifts; the night shift handles large industrial orders. Since 2023 the factory has run on power from its own solar roof, with heat recovery on the dispersion lines. Solvent use fell by 41 per cent in five years.
Four steps, no exceptions
Raw material
Pigment, binder and filler arrive with a certificate. Nothing enters the line without incoming inspection.
Dispersion
Grinding until the pigment is fully dispersed. Fineness is measured by hand on the grindometer.
Release
The lab checks colour, viscosity, opacity and gloss level against the standard sample.
Filling
Tin, pail or IBC, with batch number and safety data sheet. From here to 31 countries.
Key figures 2025
140 people, one factory
We train our own laboratory staff and applicators. People who start here stay eleven years on average. There is a fixed day shift, a rotating shift and an application crew that travels the world.
Come and see
We are happy to give a tour — to clients, schools and anyone who wants to know how paint is made.
